Ted (The Movie) Film Review
This film by Family Guy’s Seth MacFarlane was a laugh at the beginning but tails off towards the end.
The storyline of a young boy’s Christmas wish coming true by way of his teddy bear coming to life, becoming an over-night celebrity that eventually turns into a has-been, bum is funny and put together well, but towards the end of the film the jokes get a lot less funny and the storyline gets a lot more predictable.
I thought the special effects were believable. I liked the crazy one-liners from the narrator Patrick Stewart. Seth Macfarlane did a good job as the voice of Ted and Mark Wahlberg puts in a decent performance as the mid-aged man with a lazy, weed-smoking bear for a best mate.
Favourite scene:
When Ted goes for the job interview got a big laugh.
